I use Open hd no engine no rc. air pi0 , gnd pi3a+
my configuration RC = disabled TELEMETRY_UPLINK = disabled

It is possible to add on openhd-settings the possibility to disable video decoding on gnd In my case it is necessary that gnd forwards streaming on wifi , Minus load CPU .in this way it could also work on pi0w .
This possible to save the video on smartphone?

You can turn off the OSD if you want, but video decoding doesn’t use the CPU at all so it won’t hurt anything even when it’s left on.

Possible to save video on phone, easiest way is screen capture the feed. You can use Qopenhd or fpv-VR apps, through wifi or USB tethering.
