Having issues with my usb AC56 setup.
Basically i get exactly the same RSSI/DBI values with as without external antennas. I am also sure it is not only the numbers that matters, i get the same range.
So i tried with both the linear standard antenna and also an 5.8ghz linear patch antenna, no difference.
I also have the internal antennas cut off to slim down weight and connect my own ones, and doing that i notices that the range dropped significally.
I must be “stupid” here or something, is there some special setting for ac56 or what can i be missing?
