I love this project but little bit downside of rpi and wifi module , to be honest in my quad don’t have much space for this too big pi and wifi module so my question is “any hardware support from any company ?” Like small and easy to fit in my quad , thank you 
You can use pi zero W on your drone with wifi (cover remove). They are small and weight not more than 12-15gms.
There are some independent development happening on hardware front by some folks.

Yes I seen this week ago but my main problem is space
