Hello everyone, I am a graduate student from India, and I’m both fascinated and new to OpenHD. A few of us are attempting to break the Indian records for high altitude balloons. I’m hoping to get your input on where to start. Specifically, we need live HD video and telemetry from the balloon for distances exceeding 50 kilometers. Our goal is to achieve continuous altitude video. Please let us know if this is feasible and suggest a setup.I understand im a newbie but an ultimate setup for this?Network Cards,which antennas to use and a Good HD Camera?
Best practice is to join our Telegram group, there are a lot of people that are interested to help there.
In general over 50km is hard, but if there is nothing in the line of sight it is possible, with high power tx cards and verry good antennas.
