Ive been looking to mount this system in a plane but I have no experience with the range of different wifi adapters. I want to be able to reach arround 4kms of range and transmiting 1080p 30fps at least. Ive seen that the AC56 its very common but I have thight budget and it is expensive. I’ve been considering the “Taobao card” as the cheap version but right now it is out of stock and I dont know if it will come back. Other option is the “Blue stick AR9271”. However I dont know how using a 2.4GHz card will affect the maximum bitrate I can send. Could you give me some advice?
