Just looking into which wifi cards to get, and I see that some people say that these 2.4 cards are good, and good value:
However, I really need to use a pi zero in the airpi, and on the wiki it says with atheros cards that “the CPU is being loaded heavily. You are strongly encouraged to use rtl8812au cards with your Pi Zero. The higher CPU use on the Pi Zero may affect the OpenHD RC system as well”.
So my question is, does anybody use this card successfully with a pi zero, or alternatively, does anybody know of any cheap but good rtl8812au cards? The ones I see on aliexpress seem to be low power and I can’t get the ASUS USB-AC56.
Thanks for any help, I’m looking for long range and light weight. Going to use some directional antennas and potentially a tracker.
